10 Fast Tips to Save Money Now

Hello Reader,

Fun-Filled Summer

It’s been a minute and here’s why… Daughter #3 got married, Daughter # 2 is expecting, Daughter #1's son (my grandson) turned 4, and the Summer is full with golf and a vacation. All good excuses as to why I have been quiet these past few months. I am not complaining!

Goal Setting

But a fun and spontaneous summer is causing me to get away from my meal planning routine. And yes, the practice of cooking at home has been in second place to grabbing dinner out. Fall is around the corner, and it’s a great time to get back to meal planning. I am setting goals to:

1. Reduce my food bill (grocery and restaurant)
2. Eat more home cooked meals (lunch included)

The great thing about setting meal planning goals is that it positively affects many areas:

  • health – by choosing nutritious foods
  • wealth– through saving money
  • social life – improves family and friend connection through enjoying dinner together
  • personal enrichment – use cooking/baking as a creative outlet and hobby

I also gained grandson #3 in February and have been delivering meals to the busy parents. And my mom is having hip replacement surgery...
